Gillian Gordon

HEAD OF ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENTS & RESPONSIBLE INVESTING

Gillian joined JBWere in May 2019 and is Head of Alternative Investments and Responsible Investing (RI), in addition to being an Executive Director of the firm.  Gillian’s role involves determining JBWere’s Alternatives strategy and expanding Alternative investment client opportunities across Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Assets including Infrastructure & Property, and Uncorrelated Strategies. Gillian also leads JBWere’s approach to RI, launching JBWere’s first RI policy in July 2021.  Prior to joining JBWere, Gillian held senior multi-asset global investment and structuring roles offshore for global banks, working in Europe, North America, Asia, Middle East and Africa. 

Gillian has over 15 years of industry experience with a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Business (Management) from the University of Queensland.

Rufimy Khoo

Associate Director, Responsible Investing

Rufimy joined JBWere in January 2022. Rufimy sits in the investment team and works closely with JBWere advisers on building out JBWere’s responsible investing framework. 

Before joining JBWere, Rufimy is a highly experienced Responsible Investing professional and a qualified lawyer. Rufimy was a Portfolio Manager, ESG and Private Markets at her previous role. She spearheaded and led their RI policy, proxy voting and climate change approach. Rufimy is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Rufimy has her Bachelor of Law (Honours) and Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University.

Isaac Stewart

Analyst, Alternative Investments & Responsible Investing

Isaac joined JBWere in February 2021 as a graduate through the 2021 National Australia Bank (NAB) Graduate Program. Isaac completed a rotation in Strategy and Transformation prior to joining the Alternative Investments and Responsible Investing team in August 2021, rolling off the graduate program as an Analyst in May 2022. Isaac has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Business (Finance) from the Queensland University of Technology where he was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for Excellence.
